Useful maintenance and cleaning information
TechLoc Maintenance Instructions
TechLoc tiles can be easily maintained with basic cleaning methods. The tiles are resistant to dirt, oil, and most chemicals. Maintenance is as simple as sweeping and cleaning with detergent and water.
Daily Maintenance:
It is not required to sweep you TechLoc floor daily. However, you should sweep your floor as part of a regular cleaning routine to remove excess and large surface debris.
Weekly/Bi-Weekly Maintenance:
An TechLoc floor should be mopped or scrubbed weekly to bi-weekly with detergent and water to keep the floor looking new.
Small/Residential/Light use floors: Sweep the entire floor first to remove the majority of the surface debris. Damp mop the entire floor using a neutral detergent solution.
Large/Commercial/Heavy use floors: Sweep the entire floor first to remove the majority of the surface debris. The floor can then be scrubbed using an automatic cylindrical scrubber machine equipped with soft nylon brushes. A solution of hot water and a heavy duty cleaning degreasing detergent should be used for scrubbing.
*The amount of time the detergent and water solution sets on the floor is important in getting the best results. If you are cleaning a floor that has an extensive amount of oil or grease on it, first take a mop or a spray bottle and soak the area with the detergent and water solution. After you have soaked the floor you would then clean using a scrubbing machine.
