Problem:

A major defense contractor needed a raised access floor and an ESD compliant floor surface for an electronics assembly and repair area. The customer is leasing the facility and had a very limited time frame in which to accomplish the installation.

Solution:

TSS provided FreeAxez 70 which is the only all steel, UL and Greenspec listed low profile raised access floor on the market. The installation of the raised access portion and the ESD compliant surface was completed in one day while the facility was in operation.

The customer was delighted with the fast installation, easy instant access to power/voice/data lines, and saved money by not having to use plenum cables and not having to shut their facility down during the installation. The entire system can also be moved and re-used should future demands dictate it.
